Summary

At SC Study Center in Florence we engage students with our unique, multi-factored approach to course instruction. A successful learning experience is guaranteed through our highly qualified teachers and small group sizes, and a great importance is placed on the complete immersion of students into the course material as well as the surrounding Italian language and culture. Four our students wishing to peruse further education in Italy can benefit from our highly regarded pathways program.

The campus lies in the heart of the ancient city center, between the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio. Florence is the capital of Tuscany, a regional district on the Italian Peninsula. Tuscany borders Emilia-Romagna to the north, Liguria to the north-west, the Tyrrhenian Sea to the west. Students will be captivated by the wonders of Florence and neighboring Pisa, whether that be beholding Michelangelo’s masterpiece "David" first hand or a visit to the fascinating Leonardo Da Vinci museum. 

 

The school is situated on the 2nd floor of a neoclassical building, in the heart of the ancient city center of Florence. There is a lounge where students can spend time during their breaks or after lessons, a library with books and DVDs, a piano and an internet corner as well as eight classrooms complete with audio-visual facilities.
